LinkedIn headshot photographer in St Albans

Your LinkedIn photo is often your first professional impression.

Before someone reads your job title or experience, they’ve already decided whether you look credible, capable and worth engaging with.

Most people either have a photo that doesn’t reflect who they are now, or they’ve been meaning to get a new one for longer than they’d like to admit.

I work with corporate professionals, consultants, founders and senior leaders across St Albans, Hertfordshire and London – people who want a headshot that genuinely represents them.

What’s a LinkedIn headshot?

A LinkedIn headshot is not a casual portrait. Think of it as your professional handshake – except it works while you’re asleep.

It’s a strategically designed image that works at small scale, on mobile devices and in a professional context.

It should:

  • Communicate confidence

  • Feel natural, not stiff

  • Align with your industry

  • Reflect your personal brand

  • Hold attention in a crowded feed

These portraits are clean, contemporary and intentionally simple. Everything stripped back so what comes through is entirely you.

Who’s this for

This service is ideal for:

  • Corporate professionals

  • Senior managers and executives

  • Consultants

  • Founders and entrepreneurs

  • Professionals preparing for a new role

If your LinkedIn profile plays a role in how you’re found, first impressions matter. This session is built for that.

Most people arrive a bit apprehensive. They leave with photos they're actually proud of.

How the session works

1. Preparation

Before your session, you’ll get clear, practical guidance on what to wear and how to prepare. Arrive knowing exactly what to expect – no guesswork.

2. The shoot

The session is relaxed and unhurried. I guide you through natural posture and expression – enough direction to make a real difference, not so much that you feel like you’re performing.

3. Image selection and delivery

Afterwards, you’ll get a private contact sheet to choose your final images. Retouched files come back ready to upload, usually within three working days.

Do you photograph actor and performer headshots too?

Yes. The same session structure that works for LinkedIn and corporate headshots, working through angles and expressions until something genuine comes through rather than a held pose, applies just as well to actor headshots for auditions. We recently photographed a young performer ahead of her casting submissions: two distinct looks, a quieter theatrical style and a warmer, commercial smile, shot on location with a full studio set-up.

“His calm, professional manner immediately put our daughter at ease... The finished photos were first class, exactly what we were hoping for.”
From a five-star review by her dad.
