Before your session, you will receive simple guidance on wardrobe and how to prepare so you arrive confident and clear on the look you want to achieve.

The session is efficient and relaxed. I guide you through subtle posture adjustments and natural expressions to ensure you look professional without appearing posed.
3. Image selection and delivery
You will receive a private contact sheet to choose your final images. Retouched files are delivered ready for LinkedIn and digital use.

A LinkedIn headshot is designed to work at a very small size – typically a circle roughly 400 pixels across on a mobile screen. That means the framing is tighter, the background simpler, and the expression needs to read clearly at thumbnail scale. A standard business portrait has more room to breathe – wider framing, environmental context, more variety of composition. A LinkedIn headshot has one job: make someone stop scrolling and decide you look worth speaking to.

Yes. While most sessions take place at my home studio in St Albans, I can come to your office or workplace anywhere across Hertfordshire – including Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, Hertford and surrounding areas. Shooting on location can work well if your workspace reflects your professional environment and you'd prefer your colleagues or team to be photographed at the same time. Travel within five miles of St Albans is included; a small travel charge applies beyond that.
